Wow, this has been a crazy week with my computer...not sure if it's a virus, the internet provider or Google.
I've done everything I can think of to get it to work better but no success....even my virus protection won't update.
It loads slow...hangs up...won't open pages and then all of a sudden it works fast and furious! And it's all MAKING ME FURIOUS!!!
Soooo that being said I have been frustrated trying to get on my internet home page let alone get on my blog to my visit my wonderful friends in blogland so if you don't see me it's because I don't have 10 minutes to wait for a page to load.
I'm taking my computer over to the dr. today - so there's another $70 out the window.
I hope everyone who is expecting me to comment or answer questions will bear with me for a few days. When business is good you just don't like to have computer issues and they think you are ignoring them!
Gotta go! See you all when this thing is working right.
Do I dare use my husbands laptop....hmmmmm - just might give him a virus!

I've been having the same problems too and get fed up with the waiting, reloading pages etc. My internet has also been doing the same thing. Sometimes I wonder if it's because they want us to use Goole Chrome. I've tried that and don't like it so I just put up with it. Haven't had any problems with my security though. Good luck with sorting out the problem. I periodically go through everything and clear 'stuff' off to give it more memory. It seems to run a bit better. Poor things....they get worn out like we do! Haha! Maa

Hi Karen, Mine was doing the same thing as yours, Sun and Mon. Then all of sudden, it seems to be working like normal. I figured, maybe the internet was in construction, so don't know. If blogs have music on, it kinda freezes up!!!! Hope you get to the bottom of it. Hate slow-loading too!!!!

Hope you get it worked out soon. My daughter loaded Google Chrome on our computer and it runs so much faster now.

With as cheap as some laptops are now, if your repairs are costly you may just want to by a new one. I know my husband has looked into a battery for mine. It cost over 100 dollars. With the back to school sales it's a good time to buy a laptop if that's what you are replacing. I'm forver plugged in now but it's a pain.

oh how i despise viruses. mine is giving me fits and i took it too the comp doc...he installed google chrome which made it worse. grrrr. good luck! jill
