Good morning friends – goodness October is almost half over and didn’t it just start?
Oh my the leaves have turned such wonderful shades of Golds and Oranges – they are so vibrant this year. And the ones that fell into the courtyard just accent the Mums and Pumpkins but sadly they will be gone today…that mean ole ‘blower’ is going to chase them away!
I don’t have much to say today – just wanted to come and check in.
I put 2 new items on my website last night. http://kmprimitives.blogspot.com/p/christmas.html
I hope you go check them out but if not I’m putting a peek here.
I had some frames left over from other projects and they weren’t big enough for much of anything except this cute Snowman sporting a Black Top Hat.
It’s a 5 x 7 wood frame and sells for $12.00. There are 9 available
And I brought back a retired design from when I first started making Penny Rugs.
Sheep and Tree. 14 x 20 and sells for $40.00
I have to share with you something that made me feel so wonderful.
I am not able to do the Lititz, PA show this weekend but a friend who is on the board said if I sent her my products she would take care of my space for me.
But that’s not all…she has a friend who owns a shop on Main St….called Days Gone By Creations. Well she is going to take what is left from the show for her shop…that’s not all…she bought some items outright already! AND….she called me last night and wants to purchase from me for her shop. I’m so happy and honored and it’s all thanks to Susan Burd…THANK YOU SUSAN.
Here’s a link to Days Gone By Creations FB photos: https://www.facebook.com/DaysGoneByCreations/photos_stream
Such wonderful people in our line of work – makes me wonder why everyone can’t be as sweet, kind and thoughtful…what a wonderful world this would be ( that’s from a song isn’t it! ).
I’ll leave you with a couple Fall photos…
Blessings
Karen
THat is AWESOME Karen your products will be in Lititz this weekend! I am hosting my own craft show Saturday and I hope some of the stragglers from the Artisans walk will stop by. I will have to check out the shop you were talking about as I know exactly where it is. So exciting for you!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen.... what wonderful news about your items being sold at both the event and the store in Lititz!! Congratulations to you!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your sons... I will keep them in my prayers. My husband had back surgery several years ago and still has pain... back problems are terrible... and so very sad when they keep you from working.... My best to them both.

Oh..Karen....Congratulations on the Pa. show. Some people are just naturally kind and wonderful. I love the things you are offering. But most of all, we are praying here for Brett and Darren. My, they do need prayers. They are too young for all of these terrible problems. God bless......
ReplyDeletePretty photos, Karen. I hope your sons do well with their medical care and do improve. Glad for you in the offer of the assistance with selling your craft products, sounds like a win-win for both of you.

They hold it twice a year - first Thursday in November and first Thursday in April. The times are 10am to 1pm and then again 5pm to 9pm in the evening. The morning is the stay at home moms after they get their kiddos off to school and the evening is for everyone else! LOL. They have been doing it for 7 years now. We were so happy to get it! I hope we do well
Hi Karen. It is amazing how nice others can be sometimes. It's a talent I think. I am so happy for you. Your fall photos are beautiful. -Steph-

ReplyDeleteKaren ~ Awesome News!!! Tell me, How Sweet is THIS. Her thoughtfulness is truely deserving of a huge (((HUG))). Congrats to you on your goods being picked up in another shop. Isn't it amazing how things just simply work out? :D
ReplyDeleteThat Bittersweet sure looks wonderful throughout your displays. Have a wonderful week.
Oh how wonderful that they're helping you out at the show by taking your products!
ReplyDeleteLove that penny rug....oh Christmas just makes me happy!
Hugs,

Yikes, I'm farther behind that I thought (again). Love your touches of bittersweet...All I had was a little leftover branch from last year I saved. Oh well - this year just didn't allow for the fanfare of the usual decorating. Congratulations on the amazing honors - Susan Burd - doesn't she do some wonderful painting?? Now, if we could only get your wonderful wares in a store in these parts....it's a lot closer then PA!! What's up with that?! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
