After Christmas Sale and other things

Hop on over to my selling blog to see what items I put on sale.  I had just a few things left from the show and today I finally got them posted.  Hope you find something you like

Hope your Christmas was a wonderful one – ours was and I know it was a good one because we were EXHAUSTED by 6 pm when they all left.
The kids had a great time and got lots of goodies.
Zayne was such a good little boy and Miranda as well – but she got tired of opening gifts and just refused after opening up 4 so we told them to take the rest home and let her do it when she felt like it.

Joe was extremely happy because he got the ‘cash’ he said he wanted…see the smile on his face. He liked the rest of his gifts as well.

Emily is so enamored with New York since we took her and Joe there last year.
She asked for a special book called ‘Humans of New York’.  And we also found a cool sweat shirt at Target with the skyline of the Chrysler building and surrounding buildings – she looooved it.

Dinner was kind of a buffet style for the first time ever – and I didn’t like it.  Next year it’s back to sit down at the table so we can all communicate on the same playing field.  Everyone scattered in different rooms didn’t feel right to me.
So, Miranda and I sat at the table to eat.
She was playing silly face with daddy and the camera

Our son Dan’s wife Jamie made him and herself ‘ugly Christmas sweaters’ – I loved Dans!  She did a great job.

That morning our neighbors came over with their tradition of giving friends home baked cookies and candy.
It still amazes us how they still continue this tradition with all 5 girls off in different directions and ‘states’.
They said they bake them as they can do it the week before Christmas.

If you can take the time to read the little letter they sent with it you will get a chuckle.
Every year they tell the story of the cookie baking!

On Monday night we had Dan DiPaolo over for dinner along with my brother and sister in-law, it was a fantastic evening of Prim Rib and the trimmings.
Dan also brought with him a plate of cookies and candies he made – he’s quite the baker I will say.
Sorry I only got a picture of him as he walked it – too busy the rest of the evening.

  3. I so love visiting with you on your blog Karen. Thanks for sharing your Christmas with us. So glad you had a good one. Love pictures of the little ones. Wow, what a neat Christmas guest. I would have been a nervous wreck with Dan there. Hope 2015 will be filled with good health and wonderful blessings for you and your family.

  4. I so agree with everyone sitting down together. I have tried a buffet ,seating for 16 can be a bit crowded. My 35 year old son says it is not really a Holiday dinner unless you suddenly find yourself eating off your neighbors plate, that you mistook for yours. hahaha. Happy New Year

  5. Hi Karen: Looks like you had a typical fun family Christmas. I know what you mean by "sitting at the table" as I prefer that, too. Otherwise everyone is scattered around and you don't even get to visit with them. Isn't it fun to have little ones around, too. We had a 2 1/2 yr old and a 6 month old...neither of them had napped and yet they kept on going...almost better than the adults. Have a Happy New Year and I promise...will do better at posting! HUGS, Joy
