PLEASE HELP....THIS IS A TEST WITH GOOGLE+

I have been having a horrible time with GOOGLE and GOOGLE+

 First off - I actually didn't know I was connected to GOOGLE+  -  and as of the last several months I do not get notified if certain people comment and I also know some people CAN'T comment.

 SOOOOO...I did a lot of reading in the 'help' section and disabled GOOGLE+ comments.
That being said it should now take ANYONE'S comments, not just GOOGLE+.

 If you would be so kind as to leave some kind of comment or even a one word comment so I know if you are getting through!
And I will hopefully see that you DID comment in my email notifications.

    Oh goodness. Yes, I had wondered why your comments were only for G+ lately. I check my Google settings from time to time. It is a pain, isn't it? Hoping all is fixed for you now. Happy first week of 2017 :)

    I have stayed away from Google + because I've heard too many negative things.
    Until I am educated (and I don't have time for that at the moment !!)I think I'll just stay staus quo...

      That's another feature that is lost - don't know how to get that back.

    I comment with Google so mine should show for sure and you should be able to respond. I have a love/hate relationship with computers. Just when you figure it all out they change everything. Good luck.

      Hi Laura - I like your greeting even though I live in the states.
      Don't do Google+ - it messes you up with so many things. I don't think it's right that Google has the right to go in to our accounts and change our settings without our permission. It's invading our privacy for sure.

    Hello Sweetpea.... Glad to see you got the comment thing figured out...Yes, this is how I used to be able to comment.... Whew. As for the notifications in your email, like I said, it depends if you have a gmail or aol (or other) email account associated with this blog, and what the commenting person has. I used to have my aol account associated with my blog, but then had no clue if someone had commented, so I set up a gmail account and associated that with my blog. Well, then I got only notices if the person commenting had a gmail account. So a horse a piece...guess we will never get all notifications again...so I just check my blog now and again... But what is really frustrating is there is not a good way of knowing if someone comments on an old post...and you can't reply to the comment via email if you didn't get the notice....(altho you can reply on your blog like you are doing if you have your blog set that way). Sorry if I am making this even more confusing LOL...didn't mean to! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
