I have edited this post after receiving a couple e-mails on how to fix our problems..
ROBIN at http://thecrankycrow.blogspot.com/2011/05/blogger-comment-help-if-youre.html has posted this…and also Pamela from http://seasonsofthyheart.blogspot.com/ suggested the same ‘fix’.
SHEILA over at http://seasonsofthyheart.blogspot.com/ said she has been commenting through Anonymous and then it will go through…so let’s try that!!
Thanks Sheila
SO PLEASE CHECK OUT ROBIN’S SITE AND MAYBE YOU TOO CAN BE ‘FIXED’.
But here’s my original post anyway….
SORRY EVERYONE...I'VE BEEN LIKE SOME OF YOU AND CAN'T POST COMMENTS.
I'VE TRIED MANY TIMES TO POST A COMMENT AND IT TAKES ME TO THE SIGN IN...I DO THAT AND IT TAKES ME BACK TO THE POST AND REPEATS ITSELF OVER AND OVER.
What in the world is going on with Blogger????
I see that some of you have many comments...why is that????
Am I doing something wrong???
On my last post here I got some comments and some bloggers had to e-mail me with their comments because of this issue.
I PROMISE I WILL GET BACK TO YOU THROUGH AN E-MAIL AS WELL IF I CAN’T COMMENT DIRECTLY.
Does anyone know what is happening - why some CAN and why some CAN'T???
Please let me say THANK YOU to everyone who commented and e-mailed about my DECISION...still don't know what I'm going to do - as I was fighting this issue an order came in...LOL
I know there are down times with website sales...I've just never experienced it in the 6 years I've been doing this. Guess I can call myself one of the lucky ones. And a couple months with slow sales is probably very normal.
I will tough it out and see what the rest of summer brings. I do know I'm always busy at holiday time though.
AGAIN 'THANK YOU' TO EVERYONE FOR CARING AND HELPING ME WITH ALL YOUR WONDERFUL SUGGESTIONS.
IT’S GRADUATION TIME!
Yesterday our neighbors had a graduation party for the 5th and last daughter.
It was held in the street right outside our side yard/driveway...we attended for about 2 hours then retreated to the quiet of our house.
GERANIUMS…
I did get a few of my Geraniums out on Friday – I only put out a few this year and left the rest packed away. Seems as time goes on I do less and less of everything. The ‘less is more’ phrase is sounding better and better as I go along.
In my trencher – this time I put it on the hutch in my den because and not on the dining room table - I like the Goose in the grain box now – I guess found something I like better than the trencher there.
And then on the table in the kitchen by the back door. I have them sitting in one of my favorite tin dough risers.
And my most favorite is my Patriotic ones in the screen room with the Red and White Geraniums in the blue box.
Have a wonderful Memorial Weekend and remember all those who served our country and paid the price and for all those others went before us.
Karen
Hi Karen~ I have been having this very same problem. Not sure what I am doing wrong either. I have found that if I look in the "select" box below and if I put "Anonymous" and write a comment it will go through. That's what I'm doing now. Most of the time I've checked back and my comment was on the blog I visited.
ReplyDeleteHang in there with your site. It's difficult knowing what to do, but I do think that the economy and all the things going on around the country is finally effecting the things that we all sell. It's been very slow for our little boutique the last month and a half.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Blessings,
Sheila

Happy holiday to you my friend. Your geraniums looks fabulous - as usual. My blogger was messed up too, but seems to be working okay now. Have a wonderful weekend, Dawn PS I think business is down all over the country.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colonial pics! I think it has more to do with the blog than the reader. Blogs that have pop up windows for comments seem to work...I can leave comments on some blogs, and not on others-
ReplyDeleteHi Karen~
ReplyDeleteThe comments issues has been going on for almost a week now and it's not EXACTLY the same problem (or the same fix) for everyone....There are also ongoing problems with followers disappearing. I believe both problems are related to interface issues between Blogger and certain web browsers (particularly Internet Explorer and Google Chrome) people use (that's why some have problems and some don't.) I posted work-arounds on my blog a few days ago that have worked for me: (http://thecrankycrow.blogspot.com/2011/05/blogger-comment-help-if-youre.html)
Maybe you will find something there that helps. I FEEL your pain!
Love your geraniums!!! Wonderful displays!
Have a great holiday weekend!
Smiles & Hugs, Robin
Well I am now testing the 'fix' that Robin has suggested...here goes...I'm ready to click 'publish'
ReplyDeleteWohhhhooooo it worked!
ReplyDeleteSo come on now everyone...change out the very easy problem and we'll all be good to go.
Karen, Blogger has been a booger for the last few days. I won my very first giveaway and since my giveaway was from a no reply blogger I was near panic tryiing to get in touch with her. All worked out well. Love your geraniums. I had never thought to use silk ones inside until this year and am enjoying them. Love yours in the trencher and the blue box. The party you attended looked neat. This is the first year I can remember We didn't know anyone graduationg. Makes me think,,, are we getting that old and all the kids we know are grown up? (let's not go there) You have a great weekend and stay safe. Hugs
ReplyDeleteAngela
Karen, I was so happy to see the geraniums in your trencher! That is a favorite of mine, that you display. I don't care where you put it, on the table or the bench. I find it just beautiful.
ReplyDeletebetty
Hi Karen ,I agree with Betty the geraniums in your trencher is a favorite of mine too.Always enjoy seeing pics of your beautiful home.Happy Memorial Day !Hugs,Jen
ReplyDeleteOne blog friend said she was told to uncheck the "keep me signed in" box so I tried that, now am trying to post a comment here, which I could not do last time I tried. Each time I tried to leave a comment here Blogger would take me to my "sign in" page and I would sign in and the same thing happened over and over until I finally gave up. So, will see if it works this time.
ReplyDeletep.s. - it worked this time
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, I love geraniums and yours look so nice where you have them.. I'm starting to feel the way you do about "less is a "good thing". I hope you'll have a very pleasant summer and that sales will pick up for you and other women who spend their time crafting. It's got to get better for everyone. Hugs, Charlotte
ReplyDeleteI worked out to not check the 'keep signed in' box, so I have been able to comment. Looks like I'm not 'that' old after all! Thanks for the bright cherry pics Karen. My days are very quiet at the moment. Maa
ReplyDeleteLooks like great fun...and the geraniums are just wonderful. I have mine out too and they make me smile!
ReplyDeleteHope you get the blogger issues figured out...my followers disappear half the time....oh well. Have a great weekend. Dianntha
Karen, I was having the same problem. Deleted all my temporay files and cookies, it worked for a couple of days, then NOTHING again. This is so maddening! Love your pictures, always love what you do, even if it's less.
ReplyDeleteHave you had your back nerve buring yet? I am having mine on Thursday. OLM
Hi Karen.. Love your kitchen window.. Looks so cozy..
ReplyDeleteHopefully all these problems will pass..
I tried doing the signing out thing and it has helped to comment. I hope..
Blessings.
Faye.
I LOVE your geraniums!
ReplyDeleteI know slow....things are picking up here now. Weather was a huge factor this spring. Because we didn't really HAVE a spring!
Having the same problems with the comments! Soooo frustrating!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, I love all your geraniums, they are one of my favorites too. I love all your containers for them, so nice and prim.
ReplyDeleteI sell fresh baked items at a small store and our business has been terrible the last couple of months. My sales are down about half. I guess it is slow everywhere. Hopefully things pick up for all of us. Glad you got a sale!!8-)
Blessings,
Lorna
Karen ~
ReplyDeleteI've tried a couple of fixes and can post on some blogs but not all. I need to try Robin's fix next. It is so frustrating!
Happy Memorial Day to you and your family!
Pug hugs :)
Lauren
Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and happy I did! Your red geraniums are beautiful.
I know quite a few bloggers have been having trouble with comments, I think when you sign in (don't click the "stay signed in" button) and that should work.
Happy day!
Donna
Looks like you can comment now!!! Love seeing your home!
ReplyDeleteKaren...Love your pictures. The geraniums look lovely. Happy to see your technical issues have been resolved.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Marlene
